February 2019

Parents and Students -

Hard to believe, but we’re already making plans for the next school year! February is request month for students for their 2019-2020 courses. Throughout the month, students will be receiving course request forms, along with additional information from their counselors, in their Seminar (formerly Advisory) classes.

Grade level registration is staggered throughout the month to coincide with counselor visits to Seminar, and special evening parent information sessions put on by the counselors. On an assigned day, students will use our PowerSchool Class Registration system to input their requests.

Students will have a dedicated day to register for their classes in their Seminar classes. Then, the class registration will remain open until February 28 to allow for students to ask questions of their counselors and teachers, and edit their requests as necessary. Students will need to make an appointment with their counselors to edit their course requests. Students who do not complete their registration by 2/28 will have counselors select courses for them based on graduation needs and course availability.
